- 2000 gr. pork, cut in portions for pork rod
- 3 onions
- 4-6 tomatoes, cut in half
- 3 onions, mashed
- 200 ml. Altis Classic Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- Freshly ground pepper
- Salt
Instructions
EXECUTION
- In a bowl, we mix the olive oil, onions, oregano, pepper and salt; we massage the meat in this mix so as to cover it all over.
- We wrap the meat in baking paper and let it marinate for 6-8 hours.
- We alternate the meat and tomato pieces on
- Instead of pork, we can also use veal or mutton, or a mixture of various meats
- If we cook the pork rod in the oven, we wrap it in baking paper which we remove 15 min. before the end, so that the meat turns brown
