Lemon fish with potatoes (Bianco)

  • 2 large sea basses, in fillets
  • 5 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 600 gr. potatoes, cut in thick slices
  • 120 gr. Altis Traditional Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 lemons
  • 4 tablespoons parsley, minced


      1. In a wide saucepan, we place the potatoes in layers and in between we add the garlic, salt and pepper.
      2. We add the olive oil and as much water as necessary for the potatoes to become soft, and we cook for about 25΄.
      3. Then, we add the fish fillets over the potatoes; we pour the lemon juice, sprinkle with the parsley and continue to cook for another 10΄.
      4. We serve the bianco fish with lemon and a little minced parsley.
      We can also use salted codfish instead
